Diana Lynn (Culbertson) Evans, 80, of Davenport, FL (formerly of Kokomo and Carmel, IN) passed away on August 15, 2025. Her daughter, Kelly, was with her as she passed. She was born on September 30, 1944, to the late Russel P. and Betty Lou (Mullen) Culbertson.
She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1962. She had two children, Kirt VanLue and Kelly (Rodney) Gross. She was married to Edgar Evans (deceased) for nearly 49 years. Diana loved music, dancing and traveling. When her body wouldn’t allow her to travel, she enjoyed cards and jokes with loving friends and caretakers.
Diana is survived by her children Kelly (Rodney) Gross and Kirt VanLue; siblings: Carolyn Lavengood, Kathryn (Michael) Sikorski; grandchildren: Mason Crum, Drake Crum, Joshua VanLue, Zachary VanLue, Ashley (Brady) Dreher, Ryan Nebel; great-grandchild Carver Dreher; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Both her brother, Richard Culbertson, and sister-in-law, Diana Louise Culbertson, preceded her in death.
Honorary donations may be made to St. Jude’s.
Heaven has gained another blessed soul.
A graveside service honoring her life will take place at 1pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Lakeview Chapel), 4180 Westfield Rd., Westfield, IN 46062.
