With heavy hearts and love, we announce the passing of Diane E Uballe-Mazzariello, in Jackson, CA, on July 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Diane was born on February 24, 1959, in San Benito, TX, to the late Abel and Eva (Longoria) Uballe. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. A woman whose warmth, laughter, and kindness touched everyone she met. She lived life to the fullest, embracing every opportunity to explore new places and make beautiful memories. Whether she was traveling the world, planting flowers in her garden, or dancing at one of her legendary parties, she radiated joy.
Home was where her heart truly felt happy. She loved baking with her grandchildren, hosting unforgettable gatherings filled with laughter, music, and love. Her ability to make others smile was effortless and genuine. She had a way of making people feel special.
Diane was also a woman of great dedication. She worked for many years at JCPenney and Home Depot, where she especially loved her time in the garden section, her happy place, where she worked her magic with plants and people alike.
Although her time with us was cut short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be missed more than words can ever express. Diane's legacy is one of joy, strength, and unconditional love. She was a light in so many lives and leaves behind a community of family and friends who will carry her spirit forward.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Jessica (David) Maysee of Jackson; son, Mike Mazzariello of Lodi, CA; brother, Abel (Jan) Uballe, Jr. of Santa Clarita, CA; sister, Anna Uballe of San Andreas, CA; grandchildren, Daniel, Justin, Maddie (Kevin), Charlee, Abel; step-children, Jayson, Alysha, Kristina, Trisha, Rebecka and Mikayla and many step-grandchildren.
A celebration of Diane's life will be held at a later date to honor the vibrant, beautiful soul she was.
