Diana Lee Reilly, age 80, entered into rest Thursday August 21st, 2025 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Diana was the devoted wife of her late husband Paul F Reilly.

Diana was born in Derby March 27th, 1945 of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Welzer) Smith. Throughout her life Diana loved crocheting, gardening, listening to music, reading, taking road trips with her late husband to see lighthouses, collecting her trinkets and playing various card and board games with her family. With a smile that lit up a room and a voice that made you feel safe, she will be greatly missed by so many. Diana is remembered fondly by her kids, grandkids and great grandkids for having such an aura about her that made you remember your problems are only temporary and to spend time in the moment with her.

Diana was the beloved mother of Sean (Yvette) Reilly, Tami (Kevin) Sara, Jennifer (Chris) Stager, and her brother Thomas Smith of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her sister Shelia Lewis, brother in law William Lewis Sr, nephew William Lewis Jr, Sister in law Isabella Smith, son Gary Reilly and daughter in law Shirley Reilly (Harrington). She was the loving grandmother of Melissa (Jon) DeMeglio, Sarah Jecusco, Jessica (Iohan) Cumba, Reilly and Christopher Stager, Devin Corriveau.

Diana was also the dearest Nana to her great grandchildren Brooklyn, Brayden, Vance, Brianna, Levi and Roman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Reilly family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to AccentCare hospice especially Taryn, Tka, Ilana, Sherry, Chaplain Charles, Caitlin and Maryann - for the love, compassion, and dignity they gave Diana. They cared for her and for the family as if they were their own family, and the Reilly's will forever be grateful.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. Diana's funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at the parlor. Her burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
