Friends may call on Thursday (July 24) from 4-6pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held on Friday (July 25) 12 Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Fellows officiating. Burial will be in Orleans Cemetery.
It is requested that memorial donations be made in memory of Diana to Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva, NY 14456 or Orleans Cemetery Association 53 Pearl Street Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Diana was born on. May 5, 1948 in Canandaigua, NY, daughter of the late William and Wilma Coon Dobbs Jr. She was a past member of the Gorham Quilting Guild. Diana was a Master Crafter using her skills in a number of different crafts. She loved to garden and work in her flower beds. She also enjoyed horses. Diana raised 6 children and her family was most important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas Shekell of Shortsville
