Diane Nova
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Diane Nova, beloved mother, Vava, and great Vava. She passed away at the home of her daughter on May 29, 2025, at the age of 85. She was surrounded by her three daughters and son-in-law. She was born May 4, 1940, in Merced to Bernard and Anna Nova.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Lamanna, Vonda Lewis (Jim), and Bridget Price, her grandchildren Nicole Linn (Brendan), Connor and Trevor Price, and Janae Lewis, great grandsons Isak and Ulrik Linn and her sister Beverly Schick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Anna Nova, and her brother, Gerald Nova.
Diane loved going to the beach, traveling, dancing and music, especially Neil Diamond. She truly loved driving. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She was a real estate broker and also an officer for the Portuguese Fraternal Society of America and also the SES. A rosary will begin at 9:30 am on Wednesday, July 9th and mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1813 Oakdale Rd, Modesto, California. Following the mass, a graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, California. Flowers may be sent to Franklin & Downs Funeral Home 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto, California. Or if you wish you may donate to hospice Donation Form - Napa Valley
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
