Dolores Hebert Griffin, 94, a native of Larose, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA and from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at celebrated at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of the Rosary with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her children, Harris Griffin (Joan), Karen Chapentier (Farrell), Mitch Griffin (Vickie), Andrew Griffin (Grace), Milferd Griffin (Donna), Bryan Griffin (Maureen), Lori St. Pierre (Michael Sr.), Nancy Johnson (Clyde), Angela Griffin, Alexander Griffin (Dana), Allicen Griffin (companion: Dominick), Darren Griffin (Melissa) and Paula Malone (David); grandchildren, Beth, Sarah, Joshua, Timothy, Patrick, Paul, Brandon, Stephanie, Brett, Derek, Ben, Austin, Alyssa, Maiah, Michael Jr., Mandy, Sophia, Gabrielle, Annie, Taylor, Jacob and Bryce; great grandchildren, Tanner, Elly, Will, Blaise, Collin, Chloe, Damon, Lila, Avleigh, Reid, Mila, Khloe, Tucker, Nikolai, John, Layla, Bre, Ian, Bentley, Isabella, Mackenzie, Jordan, Crystalin, Makenna, Landry, Callie and brother, James “Jimmy” Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horris Griffin; grandchildren, Andy and Dylan; great grandchild, Samuel; parents, Pavie and Georgina Hebert; siblings, Enola Bouvier, Norman Hebert, Woodrow Hebert, Herman Hebert, Norma Martin, Wilfred Hebert, Harris Hebert and Bertram Hebert.
Dolores was a member of Heart of Jesus Dominican Laity; Mary’s Helpers; Holy Savior Ladies Altar Society, Attendee of the Peace Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary. She was a volunteer for sewing for Holy Savior Church and School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed. Some of her last word were “I love all my children and tell everybody I had so much fun”
