BITONTI, DOMENICO Age 81 July 2, 2025. Beloved husband of Rosina. Loving father of Pasqualina "Lina" (Eric) McCulley & Lisa Bitonti-Giordano. Proud grandfather of Bruno Giordano & Isabella McCulley. Dearest brother of Giovanni (Angela) Bitonti, Antonino (Maria) Bitonti, the late Caterina (the late Giovanni) Biafora & the late Luigi (Isabella) Bitonti. Also remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.
Domenico was born in Santa Severina, Italy and immigrated to the United States with his three brothers and their families in 1968. Domenico worked at Ford Motor Company for thirty-two years, retiring in 2005. He was an avid gardener, master tailor and life enthusiast. Whether it was on a bocci ball court or dance floor, Domenico was the life of the party. He loved nothing more than getting a group of family and friends together where you could find him making people laugh with his many jokes and cheerful personality. He was a member of the Italian Cultural Center and was a former member of the Calabria Club.
Visitation Sunday 2-9pm with 7:00pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile (SHELBY TOWNSHIP). Funeral Monday Instate 9:30am at San Francesco Church 22870 S. Nunneley Rd, (off Metro Parkway & E. of Gratiot) Clinton Township until time of Mass at 10:00am. Donations are welcome to Voce di Padre Pio - https://donate.vocedipadrepio.com/ Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Share memories with the family at their "On Line Guest Book" @ WujekCalcaterra.com.
