Donald R. Henry age 90, of Perrysburg, OH passed away at home doing what he loved, (working on his farm), on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Don was born on February 14, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Clair and Margaret (Warner) Henry. On August 11, 1954 he married Carolyn Meek in Perrysburg, OH. Don and Carolyn raised three children and celebrated nearly 59 years of marriage together, until Carolyn's passing in 2013.

In addition to being a farmer Don, worked with various employers that included: the family stockyards, starting the family kettle corn business "Henry Kettle Corn", eventually retiring in 1996 as an operating engineer from Bower's Asphalt. Don was a member of the Five Point Steam Threshers Club; he enjoyed the outdoors gardening and hunting. Most of all, Don enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and it was his time spent with them that remained his greatest joy.

Don is survived by children: Bonnie (Dan) Restle of Perrysburg, and Rick (Karen) Henry also of Perrysburg. Grandchildren: Joe (Sarah) Restle, Roseann Henry, Paxton "Cheyenne" Henry, Elijah Henry, Crystal Cook, great-grandchildren: Julie, Josh, Noah, and Asher, daughter-in-law: Patty Henry. In addition to his wife Carolyn, Don was preceded in death by his parents, son; Dan Henry, sisters: Margaret Dennison, Janice Keifer, and brother; Calvin Henry.

Family and friends will be received 4-7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. A Funeral Service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025 with additional visitation from 10 a.m., until time of service. Officiating will be Pastor Todd Hostetler. Don will be laid to rest next to Carolyn in Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorials may take the form of contributions to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Those wishing to express a word of encouragement or share a memory or photo may do so at www.marshfuneralhomes.com.
