Don Wintz Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 18 to Jul. 30, 2025.
Dammeron Valley, Utah – Donald A Wintz, 83, passed peacefully on Saturday July 12, 2025, at his home in Dammeron Valley, Utah. He was born on September 27, 1941, in Hollywood, California, to Anthony and Emily Wintz. He married Marcella Garcia. They were married in Santa Ana, California on January 4, 1999.

Don was a person who, by his actions and behavior, inspired others to strive to be the best they can be. He consistently threw himself heart and soul into every activity or project he was involved in. His work ethic was exemplary as he worked his way up to the position of Regional Vice-President of real estate acquisitions for 7-11 Convenience Stores.

Don stood for truth and justice, and he was a staunch supporter of life.

He loved to travel and had a passion for the outdoors and adventure. He considered the Great Wall of China to be his number one trip. He liked to boast that he had visited 30 countries. His many adventures include earning his black belt in Shotokan Karate, running marathons, cycling, mountaineering, and off-roading, to name a few.

I learned so much from him. He will always be a part of me. I will miss him terribly,

Don is survived by his wife Marcella, three sons, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

GOD BLESS YOU DON, GO WITH GOD!
