Donald Curtis Adams has peacefully passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age 72.
Curtis was born on March 3, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Joy Lou and George Adams. He grew up in the DFW area and worked for The University of Texas at Arlington for 36 years, even attending the same school for some time. He married Pamela Sue Phipps in Grand Prairie, Texas on June 21, 1975. They raised two children and shared over 50 years together. He enjoyed drag racing, watching his granddaughter play softball, hunting, and visiting Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
Curtis is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and mother and father-in-law.
Those left to cherish Curtis's memory are his wife of over 50 years, Sue Adams; his children, Steven Adams, Amanda and John Stinson; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Stinson and Theo Adams; his brother, Ronnie and Harla Adams; his nephews, Andy and Leslie Adams and their children, Emily and Lauren, Alan and Alicia Adams and their children, Ada and Stella, Clay Adams and his children, Briley and Landon; along with countless other loving family members and friends.
