Branson, Donald of High Ridge, Missouri, was born on April 13, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to Stephen Branson and Gerri Langdon and entered into rest Monday May 26th, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 66 years.
He is survived by his children, Meghan (Travis) Hunt, and Niki (Tristan Searcy) Branson; grandchildren Harper and Elijah Hunt and Tatum Searcy; siblings Kenny (Patty) Branson and Brenda Jane Branson.
Donald Branson, a lifelong car enthusiast and devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of grit, heart, and horsepower. Donald's love for the open road began early-he bought, fixed, and breathed life back into countless cars over the years, often with the hum of '70s rock and country playing in the background. His hands were rarely clean, but they were always busy with a wrench or a carburetor. He proudly served on a stock car pit crew, thriving in the energy of the track and the camaraderie of fellow gearheads.
Donald's passions didn't stop at the garage. He found peace in the outdoors and joy in the simple things: a glass of sweet tea on a warm afternoon, a Chiefs game on Sunday, and the memory of road trips from his younger years that took him across the globe. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services are still pending.
