Donald E. Goff, 88, of rural Savonburg, went to be with his Savior on June 29, 2025.
He was born on April 21, 1937, to Charles Oscar and Edna Irene (Lindberg) Goff. He graduated in 1955 from Grant High School, Stark, Kansas.
Don married his high school sweetheart, Delma Darline Smith, on September 5, 1959. They have enjoyed 65 years of marriage.
He was a lifetime farmer and was also a rural mail carrier for Stark and Savonburg for 23 years.
Don was a charter member of Savonburg Bible Church where he trusted Christ as his Savior. Don enjoyed spending time with his family, farming and raising cattle.
He is survived by his wife, Delma, daughters Donna (David) Yarnell, Erie and Darla Simmons, Chanute, and son David (Paula) Goff, Savonburg. Grandchildren: Steven (Taylyn) Goff, Brian (Michelle) Goff, Kevin (Rhyan) Goff, Jason Goff, Michelle (Sam) Kuglin, Lauren Simmons, Kristen (Caleb) Durbin, Ben Yarnell, Kim Yarnell and 12 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Paul (Alice) Goff, Kansas City and his sister Ruby Ettinger, Olympia, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Charles W, Harry and Kenneth; sisters Fern Masheter and Faye Brentlinger; and great-granddaughter Oaklyn Gray Goff.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Savonburg Bible Church, 209 S. Walnut, Savonburg, KS. The burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Savonburg. Memorials can be left with Carson Wall Funeral Home for Whispering Winds Bible Camp. Friends may call at the PIERCE-CARSON-WALL FUNERAL HOME from 1:00 until 5:00 Wednesday afternoon.
