Donald "Don" Lee Lansing, born August 3, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully in Yakima, WA on July 13, 2025. Don's journey was marked by a love for the mountains, horses, service to his country in the United States Navy, deep community connections and joy in the relationships he held with family and friends.
Throughout his career as an Electrician, Don exhibited a commitment to excellence in both his career and volunteer work. Later, during retirement, he enjoyed traveling the United States, volunteering, and wood working.
Don's charismatic personality was loud and engaging. He had a gift for singing his way through life's experiences and truly enjoyed his work and volunteering endeavors with organizations dedicated to helping others.
Don is survived by his wife Kathryn, daughter Kimberly, niece-in-law Barb Baucom Lansing nephew Todd Lansing and wife Denise. Don is preceded in death by his father, LeRoy; his mother, Ethel, his brother Richard, and his nephew Daniel.
As we reflect upon Don's life, we celebrate a man who genuinely cherished every moment, embraced tradition, and left an indelible mark on our hearts.
