Donald McGregor Obituary

Donald McGregor, age 81, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael McGregor. Mr. McGregor is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Sue Walls McGregor of Flower Branch; sons, Mark McGregor of Ellijay, GA, Scott Donaldson of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Tracy (Brandon) Kitchens of Buford, GA; three grandchildren, Caleb Kitchens, Abby Kitchens, Trey McGregor; brother, Paul McGregor of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. McGregor was born on July 27, 1943 in Altadena, CA. He was a 1961 graduate of Sprayberry High School in Marietta, GA and received an Associate Degree from Georgia State University. Mr. McGregor was a retired field engineer from Eastman Kodak with twenty-eight years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford. Mr. McGregor enjoyed reading and was an avid football fan. Graveside Services will be at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Macedonia Cemetery located in Hiawassee, GA with Rev. Doug Chatham and Rev. Marty Cason officiating. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
