Donald Curtis Witt, 89, of Mount Savage, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland surrounded by his family.
Born April 18, 1935 to Curtis Witt and Emma (Spiker) Witt in Wellersburg, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan Yvonne Witt; infant brother, Cordell and daughter, Jeannine Seekamp.
Don owned Witt and Sons Tires in Mount Savage. He was a lifetime member of Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie, and Barrelville Outdoor Club, and a member of Local 37 International Operating Engineers. Don was an avid animal lover.
Surviving are his children, Jeff Witt, Dean Witt and friend, Barb Mason, Denise and husband Dr. Wesley Kroll; son in law, Bobby Seekamp; grandchildren, Adam Lewis, Justin Lewis, Douglas Robey, Autumn Green, Jeremy Jenkins, Mikaela Deneen, Haleigh Dwire, Jessyca Kimble, Christopher Loar, Hannah Kroll and significant other Anthony Wilson, Emily Kroll and significant other Josh Yost, Emery Kroll and Alissa Kroll; 20 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11:00 am with a one hour viewing prior to the funeral. Rev. Kenny Korns will be officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
