Donna Buckley Obituary
She was born in Sturgis on December 29, 1926 to Charles and Ruth (Warner) Merritt.
Donna was a teacher's aid in Onaway for many years, retiring in 1989. She was an active member at Onaway United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two children, Sharon (Mike) Modrzynski and Bruce (Sherri) Buckley: five grandchildren, Kristopher (Colleen) Modrzynski, Justin (Ines) Modrzynski, Sara Beck, Samantha Perry and Meaghan (Andrei) Stihi; and nine great grandchildren, Samuel, Grace, William, Kennedy, Hadley, Eleanor, Evelyn, Aida and Vera.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Buckley; her husband, Verle and a daughter-in-law, Erin.
A memorial service will take place in May at the Onaway United Methodist Church. Date and time will be announced when set.
