Donna Kay Morris (Flynn) was born in Chillicothe, TX December 29, 1942, and passed peacefully from this world in Waxahachie, TX on July 29, 2025 Donna had a very blessed life, and was a blessing to all who knew her, whether family of friend. Her earliest years were on the family farm, in post-depression Chillicothe, where life was not as it is today. She didn't know any difference, as her loving parents, Jack and Kathryn Flynn, raised their three kids and prepared them for the world. She graduated High School as a Chillicothe Eagle in 1961. The next phase of her life was that of a homemaker and mother in Midlothian, TX, along with J.W., a hard-working General Motors man, where they together raised their three children, Jay, Wynn and Mandy in small town Texas in the 1970's and into the 80's. JW and Donna helped found Midlothian Bible Church, that became a foundational element in the family's life. The next phase of her life moved her to Grand Prairie, TX where she began the many years she spent working for Bill Glass Champions for Life. It was here that God used her gift of administration to help the ministry share Jesus with thousands of incarcerated men and women all over the country. She was able to travel extensively, and the relationships she made along the way were some of the most important to her. Her home in Grand Prairie had a revolving door, where every one of her children, and by now her grandchildren, Anna and Bailey, lived with her at some point, to her great joy. The phase just prior to her Dementia diagnosis found her again using her administrative gifts with Life Savers, a non-profit ministry, managing a couple of their thrift stores. Again, wonderful relationships were formed that lasted all the way until her passing.
