Donna "Renee" Smith passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2025, in Sentinel, Oklahoma. She was born on November 12, 1962, to Matthew and Barbara Smith, in Sentinel, Oklahoma.
Renee grew up and attended school in Sentinel, graduating in 1981. She pursued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Sayre. Renee dedicated her life to helping others, she worked at Carter Rexall Drug for many years, she then became a caregiver working for Girling Healthcare, and later Elara Caring, touching not only the lives of the clients but also their families by providing heartfelt care and support.
Her daughters, Ashley and Allie were her life, she literally did anything and everything to make sure they knew they were loved. She worked so hard as a single parent and was an amazing mom and friend to not only them but her other "kids" that she had built special relationships with.
Renee loved spending time with her family. She never could tell Corbin or Case "NO" and loved making sure those boys knew they were loved. The same went for Matesi and Marleigh, one of her biggest highlights was Birkenstock shopping with them each summer when she came to North Dakota. She never forgot about the great grandkids or the sweet neighbor kids she loved either, she was always looking for that "something special" to take them! She cherished moments filled with laughter, reading, and listening to Christian music. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
