Donnie Reid Obituary

Mrs. Donnie Roberson Tucker Reid, daughter of the late Viola Harris Roberson-Coward and the late Reverend Walter James Roberson was born on April 2, 1926 in Craven County, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her son's home in Greenville, NC. Mother Donnie was reared in a Christian home and received her education in Craven and Greene County's earning a AS degree in Dietitian services. She worked for the VA hospital in New Jersey for twenty-five years. Mother Donnie was very passion about her sewing and cooking. She loved them both and was often seen indulging in one or the other. Mother Donnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Fannie; her husband, Richard Tucker, Jr; son, Douglas J. Tucker and husband, Claudie Lee Reid. Mother Donnie leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gregory K. Tucker of Greenville, NC; step-son, Harold Reid of Maryland; sisters, Mildred Lovick of New Bern, Helen Bryan of Alabama, Charlotte Coward of Tennessee; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other close family members and friends.
