Donny Eugene Collier, born on July 29, 1967, in Stayton, Oregon, left this world on March 9, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth, strength, and love to all who knew him.
Donny was the cherished son of Leota Faye Collier and Eugene Irvin Collier. He shared his life and love with his wife, Angelia Denise Beckwith, and was blessed with two children, Danny Cleo Collier and Lakota Faye Collier, in addition to his beloved stepdaughter, Jessi Madelin Norris. He was preceded in death by his dear sister, Teresa Collier, whose memory remained close to his heart.
A proud graduate of Cascade High School in Turner, Oregon, Class of 1985, Donny was a man who valued hard work and dedication. He made his living with his hands, working as a timber faller, in lumber and logging, and performing general labor. He had an unwavering work ethic and took pride in contributing to the world through his skill, determination, and perseverance.
Donny’s passion for the great outdoors was evident in every aspect of his life. Whether fishing, camping, gardening, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, he found his greatest joy under the open sky. His love for adventure and the wilderness was a reflection of his free spirit and deep appreciation for life's simplest and purest pleasures.
Donny was very compassionate about music and he loved to sing and listen to music. Donny shared this quality with his entire Davidson family as well as the Colliers. He also liked watching UFC, and Ancient Aliens. For the last 20 years he worked hard cutting and selling firewood locally.
Over the years, Donny called several places home, living in Turner, Aumsville and later returning to Turner. He built a life filled with love, laughter, and the kind of memories that leave an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Leota and Eugene Collier; his sister, Teresa Collier; and his grandparents, J.D. and Virginia Collier, and Lola and Leo Davidson. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the lives of his family and friends.
