On Thursday, June 26, 2025 Dora P. (Gregorio) Caroprese, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend passed away peacefully. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY to Angelina & Vincenzo Gregorio. Dora was the only daughter of 4 sibling brothers, Mike, Paul, Frank and Nick (predeceased). Dora attended local schools in Mount Vernon and was active in the girls club in Mount Vernon and was known for her basketball skills. Dora met and later married Charles Caroprese at Mount Carmel Church in Mount Vernon. They created a beautiful family of two daughters, Dolores Jaslo (Joseph Jaslo Predeceased) and Mariann Neale (Richard Neale). She was a proud grandmother to Jessica Cardillo (Chris Cardillo), Christina Dennett (Alex Dennett), Michael Jaslo and Nicholas Jaslo. She was a great grandmother to Christopher Cardillo, Joseph Cardillo, AJ Dennett, Charlie Dennett and Teddy Dennett. Dora showed her love through cooking and baking. Her cheesecake, biscotti, daddals were second to none. She was a generous and giving soul. Whenever invited to anyone's events, she always assisted with serving, cooking and cleaning. She loved crocheting and sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Dora loved to sing and dance. Dora's love and generosity along with her beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all!
