Doris Bishop Obituary

Doris M. Bishop passed away at home in Glen, NH with her family on May 10, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1934 to Charles and Marie Avery. She attended Agawam public schools graduating from Agawam High School.
Doris married William C. Bishop, who predeceased her, on June 4, 1955. Doris worked in Quality Control for Smith and Wesson in Springfield for years until she gave birth to Bill and Doriss only child, Kelly. After Kellys birth she remained home to parent her daughter.
Doris leaves her daughter, Kelly K. Bishop-Bartolomei and Kellys husband Craig Bartolomei, as well her granddaughter Katerina Bartolomei all of Glen, NH. She was predeceased by her sister Anita Guzman and her brother Paul Avery. She leaves two brothers, Donald Avery and Roger Avery as well as nieces and nephews.
Doris enjoyed knitting sweaters and hats for her family. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time her Kelly, Craig, and Katerina watching movies and telling Katerina stories and memories from the things Doris had done and seen in her 90 plus years of life.
