Doris May (Kaczmarek) Criasia, 101 of Mashpee, MA. formerly of Medway, MA. Died June 22, 2025 at The Royal Megansett Nursing Home in North Falmouth, MA.
Doris was the wife of the late Americo J. Criasia. She was born April 12, 1924 in Boston, MA., the daughter of the late Walter and Anne (Slavitz) Kaczmarek. Doris was raised in Medway, MA. and lived in Hopkinton, MA. For 45 years before retiring to Cape Coral, FL. where she lived for five years before moving to Mashpee, MA.
Doris was a graduate of Medway High School. Doris worked for General Electric Company for 42 years. She also worked for Lumber Mutual Insurance Company, Filenes, Macys and TJ Maxx Companies.
She greatly enjoyed playing Bingo with family and friends. She also enjoyed painting and craft activities. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Ellen A. (Benjamin) Harvey and James R. (Cherie) Criasia.
Doris is also survived by her five grandchildren, Benjamin J. Harvey, Glenn A. Harvey, James T. Criasia, Melissa Myrdek and Kathleen Shamaly - Criasia, and her five great-grandchildren, Mckenzie Harvey, Emersen Harvey, Benjamin R. Harvey, Samantha Harvey and Francine Criasia.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber St. Medway, MA.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 27, 2025 in St. Joseph Church Medway at 10:00 AM.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway, MA.
Donations can be made in Doris's name to a charity of your choice.
