Doris Ann Franklin, 56, passed away at 9:52 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.
Doris was born on March 23, 1969, in Lima, Ohio, to Lewis Franklin and Barbara (Bailey) Gaskill.
Doris enjoyed time spent with her grandkids. She really enjoyed watching horror movies and paranormal shows. Doris also loved her cats, Baby and Tigress. In her younger years, she really enjoyed roller skating.
She is survived by her children, Angelia (Anthony Keysor) Nichols, and Virginia Truax; grandchildren: Anthony Franklin, Kylie Kohler, Linda Nichols, Michelle Stanley, Dorothy Nichols, and James Keysor; step-grandchildren, TJ Keysor, and Chris Keysor; a sister, Loretta Rice; many nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Linda Boedicker.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by stepdad, Lewis Gaskill; grandparents, Doris Davis and Claud Preston Bailey; and a cousin, Rodney Dwayne Boedicker.
There will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
