Doris Kaye Britt Olson was born in Lumberton, NC on November 14, 1954. She gained her earthly rest on July 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Curtis Lee Olson, her parents, Alfred and Perlene Britt, her sister Lynda Walters and her brother-in-law, Charles Register.

She is survived by her three children, Mechelle, William (Karen) and Phillip, two grandchildren, Isiah (Amelia) and Shaylah (Dustin) and four great-grandchildren, Junior, Jerriah, Josiah and Jailyn, four sisters, Peggy Register, Judy Bentley (Marvin), Susan Bass (Robbie) and Jeanna Britt, brothers-in-laws, Butch Walters, Jerry Baker (Letha), and Ronald Baker (Nancey), a host of nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends, a special brother Gary Nance and wife Sheila. Doris was a member of Faith of Calvary in Lumberton, NC.
