Dorothea Marie Foster, 91, of Huntsville; passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born Saturday, October 14,1933, at Gateway, Arkansas; to Archibald Collier and Emma Dorothea Ruhde Evans.
Dorothea married William Riley Foster on Saturday, June 12, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, and together they were blessed with two children, James and Marty. She faithfully attended Marble United Baptist Church and was a woman of strong Christian faith, living her life with devotion and grace. A dedicated homemaker, Dorothea found joy in gardening, canning vegetables, and sewing. She was proud to be the first in her family to graduate from high school-an accomplishment her loved ones celebrated. Dorothea adored her dog, Daisy, and was truly the heart of the family. She had a generous nature, a kind soul, and a gentle spirit. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother, and her greatest joy in life was her family.
Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband, William Foster; one son, James Alfred Foster; her parents, Archibald and Emma Evans; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Traci Foster of Marble; one sister, Alice of St. Louis, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Joyce and Ryan Childress of Pierce City, Missouri, Jason and Sajipha Foster of Marble, Rachel and Kyle Wilson of Conway, and Jessica and Thomas Born of Marble. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 5:00 PM-7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home with Coy Siegrist officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Foster, Ryan Childress, Kyle Wilson, Thomas Born, Justin Foster, and Chad Foster. Interment will immediately follow services at Big Sandy Cemetery, Huntsville, AR.
Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.

I´ll always fondly remember Willy and Dorothea in their pickup truck picking up the black walnuts and taking them to the sheller.
