Dorothea Wayne Obituary

Dorothea T. Wayne, 88, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 15, 2025. Dorothea was the loving wife of Rolf W. Wayne who preceded her in death in December 2020. Born in Manhattan, NY, Dorothea was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian (Schaffer) Schwartz. She was a member of the Orefield Baptist Church. Dorothea worked as a Caregiver for Helping Hands prior to her retirement.
Surviving Dorothea are her children: George Schiller, Henry Frazier, Olivia Frazier, Emmett Fraizer, and Tracey Johnson-Burrell. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Miriam Schwartz, her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her dear friend Marcos Gonzalez. Dorothea was preceded in death by her daughter Vicki Fraizer and her eight siblings.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday May 22, 2025 at 2:00pm in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Avenue Allentown, PA 18109. A calling period will be held from 1:00-2:00pm in the funeral home prior to the service. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Dorothea asks that you plant a tree in her memory.
