Dorothy Lee (Hill) Davis, passed away on July 1, 2025 in New Braunfels at the age of 94. Born in O'Donnell, TX, she was the daughter of the late Alto Lee Barnes and Maudie Leona West Barnes. Dorothy was predeceased in death by her brothers Alto Lee Barnes, Jr. and Bill Barnes all of O'Donnell, as well as her first husband John G. Hill, husband Bob Davis, and daughter Victoria Lynn Tschoepe.
Dorothy was a housewife, a clinical assistant, an entrepreneur who operated a modeling studio in San Antonio, Director of the San Antonio Wendy Ward Charm School within the Montgomery Ward organization, and the Director of The San Antonio/New Braunfels Pure Fashion Charm school. She enjoyed her children & grandchildren, sailing, traveling, and motivating others to reach their potential in life.
Dorothy is survived by her children; son Johnny Hill and wife Marcia, son Jim Hill and wife Becky; son-in-law Virgil Tschoepe; her grandchildren, Grant Hill, Jennifer Hill DeMizio (Johnny), Dallas Tschoepe Ott (Bryan), April Tschoepe Grigg (Heath), Sean Hill (Emily), Ryan Hill, as well as eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Kirkwood Manor and Hope Hospice for the dedication and care they gave Dorothy.
In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her honor to the New Braunfels Humane Society or Hope Hospice.
