Cremation Society of New Hampshire - HamptonDorothy “Dot” Duggan passed away July 21 in Berwick, Maine at the age of 93. Dot was one of five daughters of Margaret and Frank Fransoso and was raised in Hyde Park, Boston, Massachusetts. In 1953, she married Edward Duggan, also of Hyde Park, and they moved to Foxboro, Mass, where they had five children: Edward Jr., Debra, Susan, Ann, and Frank.
In 1964, Dot and family moved to Portsmouth, NH, where Dot worked at Yoken’s restaurant for several decades and then later at Connie’s Taylor Shop. In 1976, she moved to the lake house in Milton, NH, where she lived until 2008 when she moved to Eliot, Maine.
Dot loved to cook and to dote on her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three children, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one sister.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Celebration of Life will be held at the Residences at Eliot Commons, Regatta Room, 23 Levesque Drive, Eliot, Maine on August 23 at 2:00 pm.
