Douglas “Dale” Powell, III, 60, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose gained his angel wings on Monday, May 5th, 2025.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his brother: Leonard Walton (Debbie), Clifton Pitre Jr. (Romanda), David Thibodaux Jr.; sister: Charmaine Rogers (Bobby), Celestine Cheramie (David), Joy Plaisance (Cary) father: Douglas Dale Powell, Jr.; aunt: Chickie and numerous extended family and friends.
Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his mother: Gwendolyn Smith Pitre; father: Clifton Pitre; brother: John Walton, Calvin Walton, Sr., James “Kellis” Pitre, and Christopher Pitre.
Dale was loveable, never met a stranger, enjoyed playing his video games, camping, and going to restaurants.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of Dale’s life will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the church cemetery.
