Duffie Lee Hicks Gibson, 81, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1943 in Austin, Arkansas to Kenneth and Margie Lee Hicks.
Duffie was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired secretary for the FBI.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Kenneth Gibson, one son, Jeff (Kim) Gibson of Cabot, Arkansas; one daughter, Stacy (William) Morris of Austin, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Parker (Lauren) Gibson of Cabot, Arkansas, Zack Morris of Austin, Arkansas, Maggie Gibson of Cabot, Arkansas, and Seth Morris of Austin, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Sawyer Kate Gibson; one brother, Bennie Hicks of Austin, Arkansas; and one sister, Nelda Harwell of Austin, Arkansas.
Duffie was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, J.L. Hicks and Randy Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Austin, Arkansas, with Graveside service to follow at 10:00 a.m. also on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
