Dylan Wagner, 29, of Minot, ND, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in his home.
Dylan James Wagner was born December 31, 1995, in Minot, North Dakota, Dylan brought light and laughter into every room he entered. With his vibrant red hair, bright smile, and infectious energy, he was truly the life of the party. His warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.
Dylan was the beloved son of Jim Wagner and Sheri Wagner, and a cherished brother to Seth Wagner and his wife Kelsie. He was a proud and devoted father to his three beautiful children: sons Oakley and Wilder (with mother Emilee), and daughter Kambri (with mother Sabrina).
Growing up, Dylan had a deep love for the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature were some of his favorite things to do. He attended Minot Public Schools, where he was known not only for his athletic talents but for his kindness, humor, and outgoing personality.
A gifted musician, Dylan found joy and comfort in singing. His music, much like his spirit, was full of heart and soul. Throughout his life, Dylan worked a variety of jobs and was always known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Above all, Dylan will be remembered for the way he made others feel-valued, loved, and uplifted. His laughter was contagious, his presence unforgettable, and his heart incredibly big. He gave so much of himself to others, even through his own struggles.
Dylan is survived by his parents, Jim and Sheri Wagner; his children, Oakley, Wilder, and Kambri; his brother, Seth and sister-in-law Kelsie; and his loving grandparents, Jim and Linda Wagner, Debbie Schumacher, and Alphonse Boechler. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will hold his memory close.
He is preceded in death by his grandma, Darla; great-grandma, Bea; great-uncle, Craig; cousin, Destiny; and two of his closest friends, Reed Parizek and Nick Fenner. We take comfort in knowing they are now reunited, surrounding him with love and peace.
A private family memorial service will take place.
