Edward Clark Obituary

Edward Frances Clark, 80, of Litchfield, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 6, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Rolleigh and Ruth (Dietz) Clark. Edward married Carol Gill on December 5, 1965 and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Carol, Edward is survived by his daughters, Shannon Lewis of Litchfield and Amy (Wynn) Esterline of Manitou Beach; son, Shane (Rachel) Clark of Willis, Texas; sisters-in-law, Alice (John) Barnack of Marshall and Annette Clark of Pittsford; brother-in-law, Paul (Patsy) Gill of Kentucky and 5 grandchildren.

Edward graduated in 1964 from Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio. He worked for over 40 years as a tool and die maker. He retired from PlasTec in Edon Ohio in 2007. He and his wife Carol made their home in Pittsford Mi where they raised their 3 children. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and planting Zinnia's in the Summertime. Edward also enjoyed camping, canoeing and fishing trips with his son, Shane and nephew Derrick. He also enjoyed shooting his guns with his family back on their property. Ed was dedicated to his wife Carol, as he was her primary caregiver for over 40 years. His children and grandchildren were his world, and he loved spending time with them whenever he could. Ed was a man of Honor, Loyalty and Integrity.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Clark; half brothers, William, George, Gene and Walter Maier; half sister, Frances Wilma Parsons; grandson, Hunter Smith and son-in-law, Louis Lewis.

A celebration of life for Edward Frances Clark will be held at a future date. Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
