Edward Schultz, age 74, of Marinette, passed away on July 5, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 5, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Casimer and Lottie Ann Schultz.
Edward grew up in Palos Hills, Ill. and graduated from high school there before moving to Marinette. In his adult years, he lived in Florida with his wife, Cleo.
Edward was known for his love of Elvis Presley, whose music brought him great joy throughout his life. One of his favorite memories was winning a dance contest in 1969 in Chicago with his sister, Diana-each taking home $50 for their energetic rendition of the Peppermint Twist.
Edward is survived by brothers, Joseph Casimer Schultz, Jr. of Marinette and Oconto, WI, Gerald "Jerry" Schultz of Marinette, and John Schultz of Florida; sisters Lucille (Schultz) McCoy of Oak Lawn, Ill. and Diana (Schultz) Hoppe of Marinette; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo; brother, Richard Schultz; and sisters, Mary Ann (Schultz) Asaro Evans, Rose (Schultz) Brezezinski, Helen Schultz, Arlene (Schultz) Wolf; an infant sister, Margaret Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 1 until 4 p.m., with services beginning at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
