Elizabeth "Ann" Petty passed away on January 3, 2025 in Adamsville, TN after a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Hardie R. and Vernece Dunnam Killough.
Ann loved her home in Ramer, TN and the people connected to it. Including her cherished husband that she missed dearly, the late Jesse Petty.
Ann was also the proud mother of her only son, the late Gregory Dwayne Koon. Dwayne blessed her with grandchildren and great grandchildren to love her long after he was gone.
Ann enjoyed gardening and sharing with her family and friends. She especially loved caring for her host of cats, that she called her babies.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Delta Irwin of Ramer, TN, Jessica Durkee (Isaac) of Waldoboro, ME, Justin Koon of Waldoboro, ME, Skylar Koon and Cameron Koon both of New Albany, MS; 8 precious great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her son and parents, she is preceded in death by her two younger brothers, Ray and Jimmie Killough.
In lieu of flowers, Ann asked that memorials be made to Holly Baptist Church in Corinth, MS or Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
