Elizabeth Ann (Nulisch) Gable was born in New York on March 8, 1964, to Bennie and Cynthia (Clinch) Nulisch. She attended school in Watertown, NY, and graduated from Watertown High School with the Class of 1983.
Elizabeth's journey took her from the scenic landscapes of Carthage, NY, to the vibrant community of Grand Prairie, TX, and ultimately to California, where she selflessly assisted her sister, JoJo, in caring for her family. After returning to Texas for a time, she finally settled in Grand Junction, CO, to be near her beloved parents. During her time in Grand Junction, she served the community as a dedicated school bus driver, a role that brought her immense joy and allowed her to foster connections with the children she transported.
In a heartwarming turn of fate, Elizabeth ventured into online dating and found love on eHarmony.com uniting with her soulmate, Kevin Gable. The couple celebrated the joyful addition of their first child, Kevin, Jr., in 2005, followed by the arrival of their daughter, Cora, in 2006. Elizabeth found fulfillment in her role as a homemaker, creating a nurturing environment filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A woman of diverse interests, Elizabeth enjoyed myriad activities, including reading captivating books, watching engaging television shows and movies, crafting intricate baby blankets from yarn, and sharing laughter over games with family and friends.
Elizabeth faced many challenges in her life, particularly in her battle with illness, which ultimately took her away from the things she enjoyed. Her strength and resilience were evident during her extended hospital stays, and her courage shone brightly even as she later moved to Appleton Health Care. It was there she passed away peacefully.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Gable; their children, Kevin, Jr. and Cora; sister, Joanna (Tom) Hegenauer; mother-in-law, Elaine Gable; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Suzanne Shook; and father-in-law, Jack Gable.
