Elizabeth Ann Lloyd McCurdy, 76, of Homeland, GA passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 in Waycross, GA following a lengthy illness. She was born February 16, 1948 in Folkston, GA to the late Shrimp Lloyd and Mary Gerada Keene Rudd. She was longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved gardening, church, her family and popcicles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex husband and best friend: Benny Fred McCurdy; brothers: Roy Wilson Lloyd, Sr., Dale Wade Lloyd, Norman Freeman Lloyd; sister: Mary Lois Prescott; a grandson: Mitchell Wade Walker and 4-nephews: Christopher Prescott, Kevin Duane Maddox, Mike Maddox and Craig Maddox.
She is survived by her children: Norman Wade (Laura) Daughtry, Gerada Anna (Ray) Prescott; bonus children: Janie (Dale) Debrul, Benny (Wanda) McCurdy, Shadonna (Johnathan) Brandes; her grandchildren: Karisa Faith Daughtry, Mary Elizabeth (Ronnie) Cribb, Robert Adam (Kaitlyn) Prescott, Noah Ray (Hannah) Prescott, RayAnna Hope (Andy) Prescott, Rhonda Ann (Kelly) Spradley, Shawn Michael (Abbey) Martini, Kurtis Ford; her great grandchildren: Kason Lloyd, Adalyn Lloyd, Kelly, Matt, Courtney, Hunter, Tyler, Andrew and Destiny Spradley, Walker Martini, Kallie Ford and Kolton Ford; her best friend/wife in law: Patsy McCurdy; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 13 from 2-7 PM at 790 Ohio Street, Homeland, GA.
