Ellen Dianne (Skaggs) Bunch, 71, of Pendleton, passed away on June 10, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1954, in Dayten, KY, to Thomas Emmett and Angela Gertrude (Stewart) Skaggs.
Ellen was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She was a hard worker, working for Genesis until her retirement. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mom and a grandma.
Ellen is survived by her two daughters Teona (Josh) Mollenkopf and Joni (Zachary Cobb) Skaggs; grandchildren Jordan Poe, Harrison McBride, Trinity Mollenkopf, Isaac McBride, and Tabitha Mollenkopf; siblings Jackie (Red) Hutchinson, William (Judy) Skaggs, and Robert (Pam) Skaggs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Angela Skaggs; and siblings Thomas Skaggs, Roy Skaggs, Jerry Skaggs, Angie Miller, Linda Andis, Ronnie Skaggs, and Shirley Woodsmall.
Friends may call on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040, from 2 to 4 pm. A time of sharing will begin at 4 pm. In keeping with Ellen's wishes, cremation services will follow.
