Ellen Wishart Obituary

Margaret Ellen Brown Wishart passed away on July 8th, 2025, surrounded by loving family.
She was born in 1934 in Provo, Utah, to Archie Clinton Brown and Emily Eleander Keeler Brown. Ellen attended Lincoln High school in Provo, Utah. In September 1959, she married James Thomas Wishart in the Manti Temple.
Ellen always loved music, gardening and art. You could always tell when she was happy because she would be singing. She took numerous music classes at BYU Provo. She belonged to The Chauntenettes, a choir, when she lived in Eugene, Oregon. Later she sung with the Jay Welch Chorale.
Ellen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a stake missionary in 1955 and held many other callings. Later in life she served a mission with her husband at the LDS employment office.
She is survived by her children Rebecca, Cheri and Glade, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jim, her daughter Katy, son Brent, and grandson Nicholas.
Ellen will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at the 4th Ward building at 192 West 200 South, Tooele, Utah, at 1:00pm, on Monday, July 28th, 2025, with a visitation held prior from 11:30am-12:45pm. Interment in the Tooele City Cemetery.
