Mitchell is survived by his daughter, Amy "Niki" Griffin; grandchildren, Andrew Connor Griffin and Isaac Wayne Griffin; his two dogs whom he loved like his babies, Chester and Trooper; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Private services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Evans Family.
