Elsie Jane Parks, age 95, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, October 14 at the Riverside Cemetery in Seymour, TX.
Elsie was born March 13, 1930 in Abilene, TX to Ralph and Hazel Lane. Nana or Grandma, as she was affectionately known lived a long and beautiful life. We are all blessed to have known her, loved her, and enjoyed her company. She left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
She is survived by her two sons Jimmy N. Parks and Judy, Mark L. Parks and Donna, daughter Lisa A. Sison and Carlito; Grandchildren Jim Parks, B.J. Parks, Jenina Barnes, Rebecca Hemphill, Robert Law, Rodney Law, C.J. Sison, Neil Sison, and Mindy Parks; Great Grandchildren Jackson, Carson, LaLaynee, Cassidy, and Kaylee; Brother David Lane and wife Peggy.
She was preceded in death by her parents R.J. and Hazel Lane, husband Jimmy Neil Parks, daughter Dana Law, grandson Ryan Parks, and six of her siblings R.J. , Forrest, John, Jimmy, Virginia and Lou.
Visitation is at 10 am Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home in Seymour, TX. Memorials to Solaris Hospice 2250 South FM 51, Ste 400, Decatur, TX 76234 or [email protected]
