Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church, 204 Virginia Avenue, Picayune, MS 39466, with Pastor Harvey Benard officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS 39466. Interment will be in Picayune Cemetery.
Emanuel Trotter was born on August 6, 1948, in Laurel, MS to Arthur and Stella Mark Trotter. He was a faithful member of Lighthouse International Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Elder Harvey Bernard.
Emanuel transitioned home on October 24, 2025 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital embraced by his loving and devoted family at the age of 77.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his significant other, Ardella McMillian, four adorable daughters; Carol Johnson (Louis), Denise Smith, Tina Trotter and Saundra Griffith (Adrain); two blended children, Gail McMillian and Keith McMillian; two brothers, James Trotter (Billie Rae) and Dennis Trotter; three sisters, Thelma Bridges, Dianne Acker (Danny) and Margaret Spikes; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
