A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00am in the worship center First Baptist Church Swansboro with Rev. Luke Brakefield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. For those unable to attend please join us for a livestream at https://www.youtube.com/live/wR3mraz64.
Emily was passionate about her family and had a love for golf and tennis. She was very active in the children's ministry of the church. She shared her cheerful spirit and loving heart with all the lives she touched; she always put others before herself. Emily will be missed tremendously by all that loved and knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Clint Fowler of the home; children: Madelyn Ramirez, Mason Ramirez, Myles Ramirez, Cameron Fowler, Casey Fowler, and Remington Fowler; mother and stepfather, Kelly and John Roise of MN; brother, Eric Alward (Liz) of MN; niece, Clare Alward of MN; and the father of her older children, Joshua Ramirez of Hubert.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Alward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Swansboro, Children's Ministry, 614 W. Corbett Ave, Swansboro, NC 28584.
