Eric Kas Obituary

Eric graduated from high school in Saint Clair Shores. For over thirty years, Eric was employed as an electronics technician at Bose Corporation in Hillsdale. He was a skilled electrical technician who enjoyed building electronic test equipment for Bose and working on both computers and electrical projects. Eric was an avid football fan of the University of Michigan and the Detroit Lions, GO LIONS! He also enjoyed tinkering on cars, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods.
Survivors include one daughter, Nicole Kas of Hillsdale; six stepchildren, Tammy (Tim) Rothlisberger, Tracy VanBuskirk, Christine (Bob) Hagerman, Stacey Nash, Matt Nash, and Corey Paisley; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four siblings, Dennis (Pamela) Kas of Hillsdale, Elaine Kas of Roseville, Timothy Kas of Warren, and Lisa (Paul) Crow of Imlay City; and his former spouse, Sarah Kas of Camden.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Erica Kas.
A family celebration of life for Eric Kas will be held at later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Elara Caring Hospice.
