Ervin Johnson Obituary

Ervin Jerome Johnson (Buckshot) died January 31, 2025, at Aneta Parkview Health Center
Ervin was born February 11, 1941, to Silas and Gladys (Soderberg) Johnson at the county hospital in Larimore, North Dakota.
Ervin attended Logan Center High School and graduated in 1959. He also attended St. School of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
Ervin and Diane Bjerke married in 1969 at Beaver Creek Church in rural Hatton, North Dakota.
Ervin farmed, owned Allis Chalmers Dealership for a few years, was a seed salesman at Cargill Seeds, a trucker, and he raised Arabian horses and Hereford cattle. He also operated a custom combining business.
He enjoyed being a 4-H leader, roller skating, and dancing at Bachelor's Grove. He also loved basketball, hunting, fishing, and of course, cards, especially pinochle.
He is survived by his children: Corine (Paul) Johnson, Grand Forks, ND; Chad (Crystal) Johnson, Aneta, ND; Aaron (Rebecca) Johnson, St. Michael, ND; Ryan Johnson, Larimore, ND; Rusty (Sara) Johnson, Niagara, ND
Grandchildren include Tara Johnson; Levi Henry; Hadlee Johnson; Emalee Johnson; Everett Johnson, and one great grandchild: Michael Johnson
He is also survived by his sister Adeline (Rodger) Olson, Two Harbors, MN
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, and his sister Geneva (Leroy) Anderson.
