Sept 13,1941 - June 24,2025
Estelle Martin, age 83, lifelong resident of Mobile, Al,was born on Sep13th,1941 and passed away peacefully, at home on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025. Estelle was retired from the American Red Cross.
Estelle was preceded in death by her mother; Estelle A. Austin, her father Wilmer H. Austin, brother, Wilmer H. Austin Jr., her beloved son, David Daniel Martin Jr, her husband David Daniel Martin Sr, and Jack Marshall Maples.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Diane Martin, 1 grandson, Kent Ibsen, one granddaughter, Tarrah Moody, 6 great grandchildren , 1 nephew Eric Austin and many close friends including one she referred to as her sister of choice, Jacqueline Long.
Estelle was a former member of the Order of LaShe's, a Mobile Mardi Gras association for many years and enjoyed the many friendships she found there.
Estelle will be forever missed for her love, kindness , and immense love of animals.
Estelle will be remembered with visitation Tuesday, July 7,2025 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with graveside services following at 10:00 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
