Eula Noe Yates, 92, of Beaufort, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her home.
Eula was an active member of Russell Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church. She also worked at Belk and Roses of Morehead City in her younger years.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Russell Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Walt Pence officiating. Burial will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 on Wednesday at the church.
She is survived by her two granddaughters, Kerriann Illmensee of Beaufort; Jennifer Lockwood and husband, Dave of Charlotte, NC; sister, Alice Mason Mace of Beaufort; niece, Wilda Faye Rollins and husband, Ernie of New Iberia, LA; great niece, Lela Mason Dubois of New Iberia, LA; great nephew, Cameron Mason Dubois of New Iberia, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Lela Noe; her husband, William “Buster” Yates; daughter, Marie Wheeler; son, Kermit Long Jr.; brother, William Vance Noe.
