Eunice Gerald Brigman, 90, of Ridgeway passed peacefully from this life on Friday, June 27, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born in Ridgeway, she was the third of five children born to thelate Belvin and Ella Rabon Gerald who taught their children to devote their lives to their family and faith.
Eunice instilled in her family the importance of having loved ones together in one space. She easily accomplished this with her cooking. She had a talent for preparing family recipes that younger generations have been unable to duplicate and a reputation for sending the men into a post-meal nap.
She taught her family the importance of sharing a day, the kindness of unhurried listening and the respect of rememberingthose thoughts and ideas. There is no doubt she touched more lives than those fortunate enough to call her mama, grandmama, and great grandmama.
She is survived by her son, William Brigman; daughter, Kathy Davis; brother, David Gerald (Gloria); sister, Lillie Mae Woodrow (Charles); two grandchildren, Stacey Davis (Yvonne)and Alison McLain (Alex); and seven great grandchildren, Tyler, Sean, Riley, Walter, Ella, Charles, and Davis.
In addition to her parents and husband, William Lawrence Brigman, Eunice is predeceased by her brother, Ernest Gerald; sister, Etheleen Holt; son-in-law, Bill Davis, and daughter in law, Jackie Brigman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Tuesday, July 1, 2025at LDS Church in Ridgeway, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church Relief Society Room. A family burial will be held that afternoon at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro.
