Evangelina was born in Seattle, the cherished daughter of Ricco and Shaylyn. She began her educational journey at Graham Hill Montessori, where she enjoyed the fun-loving times and community building of Girl Scout troop 2276, followed by Hamilton Middle School, where she earned a prestigious award and was honored for her excellence in poetry writing by Seattle Arts and Lectures. At Chief Sealth High School, she proudly lettered in Volleyball and received a scholarship for her academic achievements. Evangelina continued her pursuit of culinary excellence at South Seattle College, specializing in the Culinary Arts.
Throughout her youth and into adulthood, she was a dedicated member of the Variety Plus acting troupe, infusing her life with creativity and passion. She was a music connoisseur and lover of art. Above all, she was a devoted mother who deeply and profoundly valued time with her daughter.
Lina embraced her Lebanese culture and ancestry and researched it to the upmost. She took such pride in knowing her ancestors came from royalty. She was an actual princess, although she preferred to be called a queen.
Evangelina leaves behind her loving mother, Shaylyn; sisters, Angelique and De'Shawnte; brother, Ricco Jr.; nieces and nephews, Kamdyn, A'Marie, DeAngelo, Ricco III; her deeply loved Aunt Sheila; lifelong friends and family; most importantly, her precious daughter, Bethanie.
My dear Lina, I significantly miss our intellectual conversations, cooking together, listening to music, talking about art, but mostly your vivacious laugh and non-judgmental spirit. I love you, baby girl, rest in peace and glory. Mama
James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Emerald City Bible Fellowship on Monday, June 23 at 1:00
Located at 7728 Rainier Avenue South
