In Loving Memory of Auntie Kay
I am reliving so many memories of my childhood - growing up next door to all my cousins, Loni, Judy, Lynda, and Kendra. I think of our families together - Grandma and Grandpa Larson, my mom Donna, and my siblings Debbie, Kathy, Melony and David, Uncle Merle, and my cousins Deena and Nikki - and all the laughter, lefse, kumla and pool downstairs that filled those years.
Our holidays were full of matching dresses and terrible haircuts. Our summers were spent at Grandma and Grandpa´s cabin at Holter, beneath the head of the Sleeping Giant - with that big moose head staring down at us. We´d overturn rocks to find crayfish, hike through the shale, and make the kind of memories that last a lifetime. Loni always won who got the best tan and the biggest smile.
Remember the good times for now.
Goodbye, Auntie Kay. I don´t think they let you smoke in heaven, but I´m pretty sure you will anyway.
Sending much love and comfort to my family. I wish I could be there with you, but I´ve just had major knee replacement surgery and can´t travel for three months. I´ll task Debbie, Kathy, and Melony to give big hugs and share tears. My heart is with you all.
With love,
Terri
